Lucas Savelli’s Pop Culture Vegetable Parodies Makes Healthy Food Look Fun
Even as an adult its hard for me to like vegetables all that much… if only someone could make them taste better, or at least fun to eat. Well, as luck would have it, Argentinian designer/illustrator Lucas Savelli (aka Veruda) is already on the case with a full line up of “veggies” based on pop culture icons like Micheal Jackson, The Beatles, Harry Potter, Darth Vader and more. Apparently “there is an unknown world where the vegetables live lives similar to humans, with their own cultures and languages… just like us.”
With names that parody the stars that each vegetable is based on Savelli has created a pretty cool assortment of characters. Still… there’s no way you’d ever get me to eat anything named Lady Ga-Garlic. Ever.
