Christopher James Tate

To be perfectly honest, we aren’t quite sure how the site-specific drawings of Christopher James Tate work. Working with a rainbow tie-dye to nuclear palette and drawing buildings that are upright up until they lean and slide to the end of the page, the images are engaging, bright and electric. It’s not enough for Tate to suggest bricks or tiles, but to draw each and every one. Meticulous and fun, we look forward to seeing where he travels to and draws next.
